If you are getting a yellow-ish tint, the White Balance setting may have been changed. Make sure your cameras White Balance setting has not been set something other than AUTO. The COOLPIX B500, as all Nikon cameras do, have an excellent ability to adjust for various lighting conditions through the camera's Auto White Balance.
