Iknow I am about 5 years late to the party, but this is the first chance I ever had to really try a wheelsize comparison! The mtb industry has been weeding

Sametest on a 5'5" rider and things would change. A 10 year can ride his Dads ole 26" bike but would do better on a 24". : I was talking about wheel size, not bike size. If the rider is 6'5" he TheTimberjack is an entry-level hardtail starting at $1,250 and available with either 27.5+ or 29-inch wheels. β€œIn 2019 approximately 75% of Timberjacks were 27.5”+, while the 2020 forecast is trending closer to 50/50. I do not believe 27.5-inch wheels will suffer the same fate as 26-inch wheels have.”

Thedifference between them really is minute until you are into technical terrain and tight track if you were measuring by identical tire widths on same bike. The 27.5 will have a marginal strength improvement and is slightly more maneuverable in tight quarters than the 29er but I ride a 29er just fine in these situations.

Arebigger wheels a plot to make us spend more cash? Is 26 dead? Here's a few reasons to stick with your 26" bike. Are bigger 29er wheels better? - http://yo
